12 October 2021Covid news, LRTAQ news

Mandatory vaccination deadline
For operators that are entering Queensland using an F Pass, the mandatory vaccination deadline is approaching.

  • First dose must have been received by 15 October
  • Second dose (or a booking to receive it) by 15 November

Medical exemptions
If you have a recognised medical contraindication, and have a medical certificate or letter from a General Practitioner confirming this, you may enter Queensland for an essential freight activity without being vaccinated against COVID-19.

Proof of vaccination
Evidence of vaccination may be a vaccination card, immunisation history or other written evidence provided by a General Practitioner. You can get a copy of your Immunisation History Statement from the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR). You can access this information through the myGov website using your Medicare online account, the Medicare Express Plus app, or My Health Record; or by calling 1800 653 809.

Queensland Government Freight and Logistics website
The Queensland Government has launched this new webpage as a one-stop shop for critical information for freight and logistics operators entering Queensland from another state or territory in Australia.
